Major League Baseball has gone through a complete overhaul. With the steroid era upon us Major League and the union could not reach an agreement with testing players which lead to the demise of Major League Baseball. In an heated meeting between the two sides which went to congress Major League Baseball said if you don’t allow random testing then we will have to take action the response from the MLB Union was if you insist on random testing we will go on strike. With the two sides on total opposite ends of the spectrum the worst happened, several owners of Major League Baseball have decided to sell their teams one of the owners quoted “This is ridiculous they want to take money out of our pockets, I don’t know who is doing what and I can vow for my players that they aren’t, but this is ridiculous”. With that being said and done Major League Baseball did the un thinkable they released every player from every team and whatever principal owners that have left their teams behind which were more than half basically 75% of the National League owners were brought out by business and wealthy billionaires Major League Baseball decided to have a draft, yes a draft what is this a video game or something? Every player in the Major Leagues the Minor Leagues all the way down to A ball will be entered in a 100 round player draft so for all you kids who brought your Albert Puljos jerseys and Alex Rodriguez Jerseys be prepared to have them be called classics because they may not end up on the Cardinals or Yankees respectively. Well where does that leave ESPN77 well we were one of the companies that brought one of the teams up for sale in the National League. ESPN77 purchased the all out rights to the Pittsburgh Pirates and PNC Park we never through we would ever be a part of such a catastrophic situation but here we are the owners of the Pittsburgh Pirates and we will have complete draft coverage and inside information from the owner Riley Freeman and the player reactions about being drafted. she is doing much better now so without her creativity none of the stories were getting written obviously. 2nd we didn’t really know just how many baseball games would could cover at a time, do we do it weekly do we do it monthly or do we do it by individual series, so we all had a talk and we decided to do it weekly so if the team plays 2 series per week we will break down those series and try to do it game by game if there is some juicy topics in that game. So now that Jade is back Gavin is going to start helping her write more and I (Riley) will have to chip in too by maintaining the website now with that being said, we thought that we needed to be a little more creative I mean this is virtual reality and nothing speaks volumes about virtual reality than things that will never happen. So what we decided to do was to blow up Major League Baseball and start from scratch and start with a Fantasy Draft and just have players all over the damn place we will keep the budgets the same but we will change the whole outlook on your team and ours as well as we are covering the Pittsburgh Pirates who by the way had the #5 pick we will tell you who went 5th overall don’t worry Jade is working on that story. We were working on getting new equipment for the photos and videos but the budget ran a little over so we will continue to use what we currently have until we can maintain some of the funds to get a new camera basically lol.
